What really happened at the New Delhi, Zoo.
According to the link, the youth was warned repeatedly to not to cross boundary lines where the visitors are not allowed and yet he refused to listen and unfortunately fell in the territory of where the tiger was allowed to move around. The youth was being naive but that does not mean the tiger is supposed to pay for some unfortunate mishap that occurred unexpectedly. The animals do not belong in the zoo in the first place, they belong in a forest. Keeping them in zoo is a crime. All these animals should be freed from the zoo enclosures and should be left in the forest.
The youth was not supposed to invade the tiger’s area which he did. The youth could be easily saved by some measures, but the zoo authorities were not equipped for this kind of situation. There could have been a lot of things done in the situation but was not. And so we are faced with the troubling mishap. It is horrifying that something like this has happened being that this tiger is in a zoo and held in a specific area where no one other than professional authorities are supposed to be.
All security measures laid by Central Zoo authority were followed by Delhi Zoo, so there is no security lapse from their side.The youth himself and the crowd who provoked the tiger were responsible for this incident. The authorities cannot control the public as they don’t listen to the guards. If the tiger had escaped from the enclosure and attacked the youth, then it would have been their responsibility to consider whether or not to kill the tiger but here the youth had entered the tiger’s territory making it difficult for the youth to escape and easy for the tiger to kill. The youth paid a heavy cost of his life and may his soul rest in peace.

Latest News about that tiger incident from Delhi zoo. Forensic report came, The Tiger was trying to Save that youth from stones thrown by those idiotic spectators, that’s why he caught the neck of that youth and kept far from public. Unfortunately his teeth wounded that youth, Tigers generally catch their kids by the neck to save them from threat. Apart from his neck there were no wounds on his body. Tiger’s kids have an extra thick fur and skin on their neck so that it can be carried by the mother tiger.

Thank God, they didn’t kill the tiger, because very few are left :p
